Frustrated at the numerous paints currently marketed to consumers on the basis they are “safe”, “family-friendly” and “natural”, our founder, Mark Gardner, was driven by a desire to create the first truly safe paint for the family home.

“There are paints on the marketplace that are marketed as being ‘100% natural’ and ‘low-VOC’ to make people think they are buying a safe paint," says Mark, "but recent research has shown that even low-VOC water-based paint can be harmful for children, so I created and tested a formulation where we know that every single pigment and resin we are using is completely harmless and VOC-free.
