Which finish?

Our walls & ceilings paint is available in three beautiful emulsion finishes:

Matte - A solid, flat and elegant finish that is easy to touch up when required.

Eggshell - More lustre than a matte finish; low-sheen rather than shiny.

Silk - Creates an attractive and durable high sheen finish, perfect for kitchens and bathrooms.

Life-changing.

The title of this review might seem overblown, but it’s no exaggeration. I suffer from debilitating reactions to many chemicals in commercial products which seriously inhibits my life. Paint was not a problem until an exposure to an essential oil air-freshener diffused into an upmarket London hotel caused an instant, serious exacerbation of my allergies. I began to react to many things that never bothered me before. Shortly after the air-freshener exposure our house was flooded and sourcing renovation materials that didn’t make me ill was an ongoing nightmare. We sampled every eco-paint going but I reacted to all of them. We began to think that we were destined never to decorate again, until we tried Little Knights. I can’t say how relieved I am to have found paint that doesn’t make me ill. As well as the decorators, who were surprised by the quality of Little Knights, my husband seems to have been painting everything in sight. It’s just wonderful to be able to enjoy my home again. Both Mark Gardner (Senior) and Mark (Junior) have been extremely helpful, coming up with innovative solutions to various renovation issues. I just hope they keep on producing Little Knights paint. I don’t know what we’d do without it.

Good stuff

I bought this paint for the inside of my bird cages, as it contains no VOC. I am very pleased with the paint and the colour l chose, It covers well on bare wood. For me it was well worth the extra cost.

New thatch

Love it, tried loads of different samples from various makers as soon as I opened this one I knew I’d finally got the right one. Having a paint with no smell was also an advantage. Would definitely recommend it.

Really lovely paint with no smell - finally!

Really lovely colour and very pleased with this paint which I used to paint my conservatory with. Easy to apply and no horrid paint smell. Perfect for my pets. Requires more than one application though as applies quite thin, and has a lot of air bubbles in it , no matter how much I stirred it up, so I would apply this paint with a brush rather than a roller. Would definately recommend.

Fabulous paint

We bought tins of Meadow, Pale Ochre, New Thatch, Sea Blue and Pure to redecorate our house. The painters were very impressed by the quality and coverage of the paint, just as good as their usual paints - and we are delighted with the colours and also the no-VOC. Absolutely no paint smell at all. New Thatch is a lovely muted neutral, with a hint of grey-green rather than of sunshine. It’s very restful and adaptable to work with other ‘feature colours’. We paired it with Sea Blue in one bedroom and with Meadow in another. With the blue it looks like muted sand effect, with the Meadow it looks more grey.

New Thatch

New thatch is calm and quite subtle in what is a very light room. It's a natural, warm colour which we've used alongside Pure white. (Similar to wheat, oat, hay type colours). Leaves lots of options for the room. A relief to use a paint which doesn't leave a nasty smell, especially with small children around. Seems to have dried quickly, and our decorator was happy with its application. Nice to have a gloss which doesn't leave us with headaches and a lingering smell too.

Beautiful colour

I have purchased a number of tester pots to try out before painting my nursery, New Thatch being one of them. I will be using it to make accents on the wall painted with Mink colour as the two go very well together. I would call this colour a very classy and versatile one and I am actually considering using this colour elsewhere in my house as it seems like it could make a dark space look a lot brighter, cleaner, calmer and really elegant.
